Li Yasheng
Director, General Manager, Master and Senior Economist
Started his employment in September 1969 and graduated from
Department of Foreign Languages of Sichuan University and
post-graduated from the United Nations Population Center in
Cairo, Egypt. He worked in Sichuan University from 1977 to
1985 and held the position of Assistant Chief of Population
Institute of Sichuan University in 1983. Since 1985 he has
successively been appointed to the posts of Director of the
Planning & Statistics Bureau of Shekou Administrative
Bureau, Director of Shekou Industrial Zone Planning &
Statistics Office, Director of Economic Development Office,
Deputy General Manager of Shekou Industrial Zone Co., Ltd.,
Managing Director of China Merchants Petrochemical Co., Ltd.,
Board Chairman of Shenzhen China Merchants Logistics Co.,
Ltd. He is now a member of the Council of Logistics Management
of the US. He has been Director, Secretary of the CCP Committee
and General Manager of China Merchants Logistics Holding Co.,
Ltd. since May 2001. In April 2005, he was elected representative
of Shenzhen People's Congress and honored "Experts Enjoying
Special Governmental Allowance of Shenzhen" in November
2005.
