John Burcham
Strategic Development Director
Graduated from Brunel University in the UK in 1973 and served
in the British Royal Air Force between 1973 and 1977. From
1977 to 1979, he worked as Assistant Manager in Travelwise
Auto-leasing Co, and from August 1979 he began to work in
British Tibbett & Britten Group. Successive positions
were as Warehouse Manager, Picking and Packaging Manager of
Operations Manager of the International Division, Operations
Manager of Distribution Centre, Contract Manager of B &
Q Project, Director of the Headquarters' Retail Division,
Senior Vice President of North America Branch, Managing Director
of Asia-Pacific Branch and General Manager of HTB (Shanghai).
Since May 2001, he has been Strategic & Development Director
of China Merchants Logistics Holding Co., Ltd. He was honored
"Employee of The Year" by Shenzhen municipal government
in May 2006.
