Ye Qingdong
Deputy General Manager, Master and Captain
Graduated from the Navigation Department of Dalian Maritime
Institute in 1982 and after that he worked in Qingdao Ocean-going
Company during the period between 1982 and 1999, engaged in
ocean-going navigation from 1982 to 1993 as sailor, Third
Officer, Second Officer, Chief Officer and Captain. From 1993
to 1999 he was appointed successively to the posts of Deputy
Director of Marine Supervision Office, Manager of Sino-Korean
Ferry Company, and manager of Ship Management Company. He
became Deputy General Manager and then General Manager of
China Merchants Shipping & Enterprises Co., Ltd. in 1999.
He has been Deputy General Manager of China Merchants Logistics Holding Co., Ltd. since May 2001.
