China Merchants Petrochemical Company Ltd. (CMPC) was established to carry out storage and distribution of petrochemicals such as LPG, diesel and gasoline.

In 1996 CMPC started the Yangtze River Project, which completes a distribution network for finished oil products and LPG in China. Operating through 11 major hubs, the network offers full integration of procurement, warehousing, distribution and sales in south, middle and eastern China.

Additional operations include import handling of bulk materials including bagging (computer controlled), storage and distribution throughout China.

CML has the necessary licences to handle dangerous goods as well as an enviable safety record resulting from thorough training and compliance with International standards of safety.
